This Sunday is the Third Sunday of the Great Fast “The Prodigal son Sunday.”  📖 The Holy Gospel for this Sunday is from Luke 15:11–32.

“I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”  Luke 15:18-19

As we continue our holy journey of fasting, prayer, and repentance, our Lord Jesus Christ calls each of us to arise from spiritual slumber and to return to Him with humble heart. No matter how far we have wandered, our heavenly Father waits with open arms. He does not receive us as servants but restores us as beloved children.
